I am currently using Zenoss 4.2 on CentOS 64 bit. I have been attempting to display around 40 nodes (increasing in the future) in the Google Maps Portlet. My problem currently is that Zenoss wants to Geocode every time you return to the dashboard or refresh the page. All of my locations are currently entered in the form of latitude, longitude (ex. 32.044511,-89.841989). I have searched the forums and Internet for quite some time trying all of the solutions. Also, SP1 has been installed, which is suppose to fix the "Over_Query_Limit" message (which I not am currently concerned about or have that problem). It appears that I am never generating a cache file .
I also stumbled on a post about Zenoss 2.3 that had a similar issue and appeared to have a fix (http://community.zenoss.org/thread/8275), since I am entering lat, long coordinates in the first place . The problem is that the geomap.js file has evolved over time. Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance
