Hi All,
I'm new to Zenoss and to this forum, so I hope I'm submitting this in the right location, if not please point me to the right one.
I'm desperately trying to understand how to add something that does not come with the basic core monitoring so that Zenoss will monitor certain aspects of my application and present alerts in the Event Console according to thresholds I will set.
For example, I would like to check if a certain folder has more than X files in it, and if it has more than X files I would like Zenoss to put an alert with Error severity level.
I've looked several times in the documentation and couldn't find it.
I'm trying to set this up both for Windows devices and for Solaris devices.
If any one can help me with this, it would be great!!!
Any help would be much appreciated.
