I am starrting to try and use the new Python Collector ZenPack. My understanding is that this should be a much better alternative to creating zencommand templates as the overhead is much less.
I am hoping to produce some fairly simple examples as I am finding the documentation with the ZenPack far too terse for me - I feel another "Jane paper" coming on 
.
If anyone has examples of using this ZenPack I would be very interested if you are prepared to share. I know the new AWS ZenPack uses it and the oVirt ZenPack but they are fairly complex beasties and generate component templates. I am currently struggling with how to return data for a device template (rather than a component template) so examples of that would be much appreciated.
