Hello.
Installed a fresh zenoss 4.2.4 on Centos 6.5 x64 using the community install script. Haven't done anything other than initial setup of new user.
I have a backup from my zenoss 4.2.0 that I want to import. The backup was created using
zenbackup --no-perfdata --no-eventsdb -v
I have the backup file copied over to my new 4.2.4 server.
I tried to do the import previously on a test machine and it failed. I am getting "zenoss user access denied" messages from the zenrestore script. I am wondering if it's a username/password problem with my backup and the new system.
This is what I have in my zenbackup_20131211.tgz/zenbackup/backup.settings file:
[zenbackup]
zodb_host = localhost
zodb_port = 3306
zodb_db = zodb
zodb_user = zenoss
zodb_password = zenoss
zepdbhost = localhost
zepdbport = 3306
zepdbname = zenoss_zep
zepdbuser = zenoss
zepdbpass = zenoss
I am wondering how I go and change any password on my new clean system so that I can do a good restore?
Thanks.
Dannon
